The City of Regina is seeking 10 representatives from our artistic, cultural heritage and cultural communities to serve on their Community Investment Grant Program’s (CIGP) Culture Committee. This exciting and meaningful opportunity allows community members to contribute to the City of Regina’s funding process, which serves to enrich and develop our city through art and culture.

Members of this committee will act as peer evaluators, providing recommendations for the CIGP that funds festivals, exhibitions, performances, as well as other arts and cultural initiatives including capital projects. For more information on program objectives and key priorities visit the City of Regina website.

Selection of the committee aims to cover the widest range of artistic and cultural disciplines, as well as reflect the diversity of the city of Regina. Committee members should be capable of providing a critical analysis of the art and cultural applications under review. The work involves reading through applications over a number of hours (approximately 20 total) and reaching a collective decision at the review meetings that will occur in early April. Each member of the committee will receive a modest honorarium.

To establish a committee consisting of members entering a two-year term and those completing their term, we will be accepting applications to serve on either a one or two year term for the 2018 grant cycle. The maximum length of a term is two years and members are not eligible to participate in consecutive two-year terms without the review and approval of the City Administration.

Applications for jurors will be received until Monday, February 5, 2018.

To apply please provide the following information:

· A paragraph-length statement of interest

· Current resume

· Indication of preference for a one or two year term
