The Access Copyright Foundation (ACF) is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2014 Event Grants. Nineteen organizations from across the country have been awarded a total of $100,000 in grants by the Foundation on the basis of peer adjudication.

"Our Event Grants support the ecosystem of the literary and visual arts in Canada by way of conferences, festivals, and innovative arts events," says ACF Chairperson Katherine Lawrence. "We greatly appreciate the expertise of the Saskatchewan Arts Board in administering the program."

The ACF Event Grants provide funding to organizations and artists' groups to showcase publishable works to the public or to host professional development events for writers, visual artists, publishers and related arts professionals. Events must celebrate and present Canadian content in a public context, or provide opportunities for learning, career advancement or creative discourse in publishing, writing or visual arts.
